The variety is intended for humus accumulation, soil erosion protection, groundwater conservation, and nitrogen conservation during the winter period. Recommended for inclusion in crop rotations with cereals, corn, and legumes.

The plant is characterized by powerful and leafy development of vegetative mass and late flowering, which extends the growth phase and reduces the risk of self-seeding. The bunch-type root system with a taproot reaches a depth of up to 120 cm, contributing to the improvement of the water and air balance of the soil.

The variety possesses high competitiveness against weeds and is suitable for mulch seeding, as it reliably freezes out at low temperatures, which facilitates subsequent site cultivation.
