Dynafort is an interspecific hybrid of Solanum lycopersicum x Solanum pimpinellifolium used exclusively as a rootstock for grafting tomatoes in protected cultivation. Its primary purpose is to increase the productivity of the grafted cultivar and improve its ability to withstand soil-borne pathogens.

The rootstock has moderate vigor, which helps maintain the plant's generative balance and prevents excessive accumulation of vegetative mass; therefore, it is preferred for cultivars with high flavor quality, including cherry tomatoes. The plant is characterized by a developed root system and resistance to nematodes, as well as various types of Fusarium and Verticillium wilt (ToMV, Fol:0,2, For, Pl, Va:0, Vd:0, Ma, Mi, Mj).
