The plant is indeterminate, reaching a height of 1.8–2 meters and more in greenhouses. The variety is mid-season, requires pruning to 1–3 stems, and mandatory suckering and staking. Suitable for cultivation in open field and greenhouses.

Fruits are oblate or round, weighing from 150–200 to 500–800 grams, often with slight ribbing. Skin color varies from light pink to raspberry-pink. The flesh is tender, fleshy and buttery, with few seeds and a sweet taste.

The variety is a salad type, a classic ingredient for preparing Caprese salad. Fruits are also used for fresh consumption, and for preparing sauces and juices.
