The Barcelona F1 hybrid is characterized by a powerful root system and an open type of bush, which ensures good ventilation. The green calyces of the fruits have no spines, which facilitates the harvesting process.
The cylindrical fruits reach a length of 22–24 cm and a diameter of 5–6 cm with an average weight of 380–420 grams. The plant possesses high yield and a good ability to set fruit under low-temperature conditions and is suitable for long-cycle cultivation.
The hybrid is intended for cultivation in glass and film greenhouses, and is also suitable for open field and temporary shelters. Due to the commercial appearance of the fruits, the variety is suitable for export purposes.
