The first-generation hybrid Baluroi F1 belongs to mid-early varieties. The plant has vigorous growth, forms a tall, open-type bush that requires staking due to the load of the fruits. It is self-pollinating.
The fruits have an elongated club-shaped form, reaching 20–25 cm in length. The surface of the fruits is glossy, dark purple in color. The flesh is firm, light-greenish in shade, characterized by a low tendency to darken and the absence of pronounced bitterness.
The variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt and powdery mildew. It is intended for cultivation in open field in warm regions, as well as in film greenhouses and containers.
