The plant is of a medium-tall type, possesses good growth vigor and has no spines. The fruit ripening period is 60–70 days after transplanting seedlings. The fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, dark purple color, and a glossy surface. Their length is 20–25 cm, and the weight varies from 250 to 500 g. The flesh of the fruits is light-colored, firm, contains a small number of seeds, and is free of bitterness. The produce is suitable for use in cooking, canning, freezing, and sale on the fresh market.
