The plant has a semi-open bush type, which ensures ventilation and facilitates harvesting. The fruits have an elongated cylindrical shape 20–25 cm long, are characterized by tender flesh with almost no seeds, and the color varies from bright light violet to glossy black. There is a small number of spines on the sepals.
The variety has high resistance to verticillium wilt, caused by Verticillium albo-atrum and Verticillium dahliae, and moderate resistance to fusarium wilt Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melongenae.
