The variety is used as a nematode 'trap' and green manure. The plant is distinguished by rapid initial development after germination, reaching full field surface coverage 7 weeks after sowing. Plant height is described as medium.

The crop is adapted for cultivation on clay soils. The variety shows resistance to potato cyst nematodes and also demonstrates varying degrees of resistance to root-knot nematode species Meloidogyne spp. In comparison with other samples, the variety is characterized by low accumulation of solanoeclepin A.
