The variety is the result of breeding work by the companies UNICOPA and STE CLAUSE. The plant's tubers are distinguished by an oval shape and shallow-set eyes.

The variety is intended for table use and is suitable for making french fries. It is distinguished by good keeping quality during storage, high yield, and adaptability to the climatic conditions of the Southern Mediterranean.
