The variety is intended for starch processing. In scientific studies, it often serves as a control sample. Research on the variety's root system shows a relatively short total root length.
Regarding diseases, genetic resistance to potato wart (Sen5 gene) and reaction to late blight were studied. A high level of glycoalkaloid content in the tubers was also recorded.
