Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is the result of crossing Novita and Gourmandine. The plant forms a large bush of intermediate type with semi-erect stems and light green or green leaves. Tubers have an oblong-oval to elongated shape, smooth yellow skin, superficial eyes, and yellow flesh.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption; the firm flesh does not boil down during culinary processing. It possesses high resistance to potato nematodes and moderate resistance to late blight, while being susceptible to common scab and a number of viruses.

The variety is plastic and adapts to various growing conditions, including arid and hot regions. Pre-sprouting of tubers or planting in warmed soil is recommended; after emergence, development levels out within a month.
