The Juku variety was developed by specialists at the Jõgeva Plant Breeding Centre in Estonia. It belongs to the mid-season group and is intended for table use. The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of Estonia and demonstrates high yield.
Potatoes of this variety are valued for stable yield indicators and good keeping quality during winter storage. The plant possesses complex resistance to major diseases of the crop.
