The variety belongs to the mid-early group. The tubers have an elongated-oval shape, red skin, and yellow flesh. The variety possesses good keeping quality and high starch content, which makes it suitable for boiling.

The plant is resistant to Globodera rostochiensis and potato wart. Relative resistance to viral diseases and Rhizoctonia solani is also noted.
