The variety belongs to the group of autumn-winter table varieties. Studies show slower development of late blight on plants of this variety compared to the Bintje variety.
Under unfavorable growing conditions, such as lack of irrigation or uneven growth, tubers may become deformed. During culinary processing, a tendency of the variety to boil over is noted.
