The Mascotte variety is not available on the market as a standalone product for cultivation. Its use is limited to breeding activities, where it served as a paternal form in the creation of new potato varieties.

The origin of the variety is based on a combination of Dutch and German lines. Due to the lack of official registration, detailed morphological characteristics of the plant, maturity indicators, and disease resistance are not presented in agronomic publications.
