The variety was obtained as a result of crossing ELLES and AM 78-3704. The plant is distinguished by strong foliage, purple flowers, and blue-violet sprouts. The tubers are large, oval-round in shape with yellow skin and cream flesh, belonging to the floury culinary type (type C).
The dry matter content is about 25.7%. The variety is unsuitable for potato chip production and has medium suitability for french fries. It is resistant to the nematode Globodera pallida, however, it is sensitive to secondary growth, bruising, blackening of the flesh after cooking, and the effect of metribuzin.
