The shrub is characterized by a compact growth habit and modest size, distinguishing it from other varieties. In spring, starting from March, young leaves acquire pink, peach, and creamy-yellow shades, which persist until the end of May, after which the foliage turns green.
Flowering occurs in June-July with white flowers collected in paniculate inflorescences. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness down to -45°C, is low-maintenance, and produces fewer root suckers than the original species.
The plant is used as a specimen plant, for creating hedges and flower beds, as a groundcover species, and is also suitable for container cultivation.
