The hybrid belongs to the group of plants with the BMR (Brown Mid-Rib) trait, which is visually manifested by the brown color of the central leaf midrib and results in a lower lignin content in the tissues. The plant is tall, reaching a height of 350–400 cm, and is characterized by good leafiness and high drought tolerance.

Due to the low concentration of lignin, the hybrid possesses increased fiber digestibility and improved nutritional value. Green mass yield under favorable conditions exceeds 70 tons per hectare. The crop is used as a silage plant and is also being studied as a green manure.

When cultivating, it is necessary to consider the biological characteristics of sorghum crops associated with the risk of nitrate or cyanide accumulation under stressful weather conditions, such as drought or frost.
