The variety is intended for forage production and is used to obtain green mass, harvest hay, and prepare silage. The average yield of green mass is about 70 t/ha, and under irrigation, the indicator can reach 100 t/ha. The plant possesses the ability to regrow after mowing, which allows for 2–3 cuts per season.

The variety is characterized by intensive tillering and a large leaf mass. It possesses high resistance to drought and the main diseases of the crop, including smut and sorghum red leaf spot. The forage obtained from this variety is a source of carbohydrates and energy for livestock feeding.
