The variety is a pure Sudan grass, not a sorghum-sudangrass hybrid. The plant is distinguished by a short vegetation period, rapid initial growth, and the ability to reach a height of up to 2 meters. The variety is insensitive to photoperiod, which allows it to form panicles under long daylight hours.

The stems and leaves of the variety are thinner than those of many hybrids, which improves feed palatability. The plant tolerates heat well, possesses high drought tolerance, and excellent regrowth capacity after mowing or grazing. Under research conditions, moderate susceptibility to Helminthosporium leaf blight was noted.

For optimal development, the variety requires warm, well-warmed soils, performing poorly in cold or waterlogged conditions. There is a risk of nitrate accumulation under excessive fertilization.
