The variety belongs to the category of prickly-seeded spinach. It is characterized by seeds with sharp appendages, narrow pointed arrow-shaped leaves, and an upright rosette. The leaves are distinguished by a tender texture and are intended for fresh consumption.

Due to the very rapid development rate, the variety is not suitable for late sowing dates, as it intensively forms flower stalks with increasing day length. In scientific research, the variety is often used as a control sample susceptible to downy mildew and cucumber mosaic virus.
