Grodane plants form smooth, bright medium- or dark-green leaves with slight blistering. The hybrid possesses high growth vigor and forms a voluminous yield.

The variety is intended for commercial use, including baby leaf cultivation. Under field conditions with late May sowing, technical maturity is reached by the end of June. The variety shows sensitivity to day length and high temperatures, which is typical for this crop.
