The Harp F1 variety belongs to the oriental type of spinach. The plant has an upright growth habit, which simplifies manual and mechanical harvesting processes. The leaves have a dark green color, smooth surface, and serrated shape, and are characterized by a medium-fast growth rate.
The variety has high resistance to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa f.sp. spinaciae), including races 1–12, 14–16, 19, and 20. The crop is intended for the production of young leaves (baby leaf) and for bunching.
