The plant has an upright habit, which facilitates mechanical harvesting. The leaves are characterized by high density, durability, and suitability for washing and packaging.

The variety is primarily intended for the baby leaf market, but is also suitable for bunching spinach production. Due to its cold tolerance, the variety performs best in cool climate conditions when grown in the open field or unheated greenhouses.

The variety has high resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora effusa) races 1–15, 17.
