Zedaron F1 is a first-generation hybrid belonging to the mid-early maturity group. The plant forms semi-savoy type leaves characterized by moderate puckering. The variety possesses a high degree of uniformity and is intended for intensive cultivation during the autumn, winter, spring, and summer periods.
This hybrid possesses high resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora effusa, races 1–18, 20), as well as to Stemphylium vesicarium. The variety is oriented toward the needs of the professional market and fresh sales.
