The plant forms a sturdy, dense bush with narrow-lanceolate, medium-green leaves that are longer in the basal rosette. The peduncles reach a height of 40–60 cm. The large flowers, 10–12 cm in diameter, have deeply incised marginal petals and a saturated bluish-lavender hue.
Flowering continues from August until autumn. The variety is hardy and exhibits drought tolerance after rooting, but requires well-drained areas, as it is sensitive to winter soil waterlogging. The flowers are long-lasting, which allows the variety to be used for cutting, as well as in borders and container plantings.
