The plant reaches 75–120 cm in height and width. The foliage is green, dropping in the autumn period. Small pink-white flowers appear in late spring and early summer.
Berries of a bright pink-lilac shade ripen in early autumn and are able to persist on the branches throughout the winter. The variety is drought tolerant, adapted to USDA hardiness zones 4–8 and is resistant to deer browsing.
