The variety was discovered in 1977 as an accidental seedling. The height of the tree reaches 18–20 meters. The crown in young age is broadly conical, becoming high-arched with age; the shape depends on soil quality. The trunk is straight, without forks, and the main branches are strong, with abundantly branching side shoots.
The plant does not form flowers or fruits. Due to the peculiarities of the crown structure and the strength of the trunk, the variety has high resistance to damage. It is recommended for use as a street tree, for alleys, squares, and landscaping of private plots. The synonym Tilia cordata «Roelvo» is found in literature.
