The variety is a soft-seeded annual plant with an erect growth habit. It belongs to the medium-maturing group, with flowering times comparable to the subterranean clover variety Coolamon. The plants have strong stems that are resistant to lodging.
The variety demonstrates resistance to clover scorch. The crop is adapted to high-rainfall zones and various soil conditions, including acidic soils, and is capable of recovering after intensive grazing.
Used as high-nutrient forage for livestock grazing, as well as for hay and silage production.
