Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is an annual, forming stiff erect stems with soft pubescence and trifoliate leaves. The inflorescence heads are initially shaped like a pointed cone, eventually acquiring a cylindrical appearance. The seeds are yellow-brown in color, ovoid, with a thousand kernel weight of about 4.6 g.

The variety belongs to the winter form with relatively weak winter hardiness. Green mass yield is 160–250 c/ha, hay yield is 24–50 c/ha. When grown for seeds, the yield reaches 5 c/ha. During the flowering phase, the stems coarsen rapidly, which reduces their nutritional value.

Possesses relative resistance to diseases, although it can be affected by powdery mildew or leaf spot. Used as a forage crop or winter stubble crop. Can be grown in pure stands or in mixtures with ryegrass or vetch.
