Chlumecký is a diploid red clover variety. The variety was bred at the breeding station in Chlumec nad Cidlinou and was actively used in breeding work as a parent form for open pollination to create such varieties as Bonus and Garant.

This variety is classified as a forage crop. During breeding, attention was paid to ensuring high yields of green mass and grain, as well as resistance to diseases, which ensures stable productivity indicators in the agricultural sector.
