Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is characterized as mid-early, possesses good winter hardiness and a high rate of regrowth after cuttings, allowing for two to three cuts per season. Resistance to lodging is medium, increased tolerance to Sclerotinia is noted, while the variety is sensitive to periodic droughts.

The plant is a versatile forage variety, suitable for cultivation in pure stands or in mixtures for hay meadows, and also serves as a honey plant. The forage mass is rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals, making it suitable for hay preparation and use as green forage.

For cultivation, fertile, calcareous, and constantly moist soils with a pH level from 6.6 to 7.6 are optimal. For pure seeding, a sowing rate of 10–12 kg/ha is recommended; early spring is considered the best time for planting.
