The variety is used as a forage crop. In scientific studies of nutrition and ensiling, it is applied as a red clover model for creating mixed forages, in particular in combination with Dactylis glomerata.

The use of the variety in forage mixtures contributes to improving feed intake in sheep, reducing methane emissions during digestion, and has a positive effect on the nitrogen balance.
