The variety is diploid (2n) and reaches maturity for the first cut in 58–63 days. The plant is characterized by high productivity and contains increased concentrations of nitrogen, calcium, and flavonoids, which is valuable for improving the fodder and medicinal qualities of the raw material.
The variety is resistant to a number of diseases and is suitable for use in multi-species mixtures. It is used for establishing pure stands, inclusion in grass mixtures for haymaking and grazing, and also as a cover crop.
