The Hegemon variety is a red clover used as a fodder crop. The plant demonstrates stable accumulation of vegetative mass, with the highest yield indicators noted in the second year of use.
In the first year of cultivation, the variety is distinguished by a high-quality yield of fodder mass during the first cut and a decent protein content. In studies of the biochemical composition, the total phytoestrogen content was recorded at a level of 30.8 g/kg of dry matter.
