The variety is a diploid form intended for use as a forage crop in hayfields and pastures, including in mixed stands with forage grasses.

In experiments studying diseases, the variety showed sensitivity to the development of root rots caused by Fusarium spp. and Pythium oligandrum under intensive mowing. In long-term trials, its dry matter productivity is inferior to modern and tetraploid varieties.
