The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant with a taproot system. In terms of stem elongation rate, it occupies an intermediate position between late-maturing varieties and early forms.

The main focus of breeding was to increase resistance to the causative agent of clover rot (Sclerotinia trifoliorum). The variety was used in livestock farming as a forage crop, as well as a green manure crop in organic farming, including in mixed stands.
