The Nodula variety is a tetraploid representative of red clover. It was purposefully selected as a genotype possessing high efficiency of biological nitrogen fixation, which is reflected in the variety's name.
In scientific literature, the variety is used in comparative trials to analyze phytoestrogen concentration and biomass productivity. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group or plant height, are not presented in publicly available publications.
