The variety is intended for use in mixed pasture stands for grazing and hay harvesting. The plant is characterized by a high proportion of large green leaves and stems, which are highly palatable to animals.
During breeding work, lines with varying content of formononetin and differing in fall dormancy traits were selected. Studies also addressed the resistance of individual lines of the variety to weevils and the possibilities for in vitro tissue cultivation.
