The variety is diploid and belongs to early-maturing types, ripening approximately one day earlier than the Viglana variety. Genetically, the variety was obtained through selection from progeny resulting from a cross between MŠ-1 and Jičínska.
Under production conditions, the variety demonstrates high green mass yield in the first and second years of use. When overseeding into swards, it proves to be one of the most successfully establishing diploid varieties, although establishment rates may decrease during precipitation deficits.
