The variety is a fodder crop. Research in the conditions of the Precarpathian region shows a potential yield of green mass at the level of 52.6 t/ha, dry matter 11.2 t/ha and seeds 0.3 t/ha.

In breeding work with this variety, the main attention is paid to seed productivity, namely the number of heads per plant and seeds per head, as well as increasing the nutritional value due to the leafiness of the plant.
