The variety is a perennial forage crop. It possesses the ability to adapt to various soil conditions, ensuring stable dry matter yield results.

During studies of the Una variety, high seed productivity was identified, reaching 20.5 g/m². The chemical composition of the plant is distinguished by an increased content of crude protein and potassium, as well as the presence of antioxidant activity, determined by the profile of phenolic compounds.
