The variety was bred in Slovenia based on local ecotypes growing in the Alpine, pre-Alpine, and subcontinental regions. It is intended for use in grass mixtures for establishing and improving meadows and pastures on arable land.

The plant belongs to the upright or semi-upright type. The variety shows greater persistence compared to field-type clover, which extends its period of utilization in the sward by approximately one year. It is distinguished by greater plant height and increased biomass productivity.
