Variety description

10 August 2026

The Osceola variety is an intermediate type between large-leafed Ladino and medium-height varieties. It possesses high dry matter yield, resistance to summer conditions, and a good ability to regenerate through self-seeding and stolon spreading. The crop is used for livestock grazing, establishing forage lands, and erosion control.

The Seminole variety is an advanced generation variety bred by mass selection. The plant is characterized by excellent regeneration ability under intensive use and is intended for cultivation in forage mixtures or in pure stands for hay harvesting.
