The plant is annual and forms hollow branched stems 50–70 cm in height. The variety is characterized by rapid growth and intensive regrowth after mowing. It prefers fertile soils of heavy mechanical composition.
It is used for producing green mass and hay, either pure or in grass mixtures. The variety provides 2–4 cuts per season depending on moisture levels, with dry matteryield varying from 4 to 10 t/ha. Recommended for sowing in the spring-summer period.
