Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a loose-bunch grass with a semi-erect habit. The stems are thin and straight, with pubescent nodes. The leaves are also covered with short, soft hairs. The plant height varies from 60 to 100 cm. The narrow-oblong seeds are characterized by a very low weight; the thousand kernel weight is 0.21 g.

The plant belongs to early or medium-early varieties; seed ripening usually occurs in the second half of June or the first half of July. The variety possesses medium resistance to rust and a complex of leaf spots. In spring, it forms a dense stand and demonstrates good regrowth after mowing.

The primary purpose is high-quality forage production. The variety is suitable for forming perennial grass and clover-grass mixtures, as well as for establishing permanent meadows and pastures. It adapts well to difficult growing conditions, including high-altitude and drier areas.
