The variety is a decorative perennial bulbous plant, also known as Brodiaea. It is intended for use as a cut flower crop.

The plant reaches a height of about 50 cm. The flowers are blue-pink with a white base, although in some trade catalogs the general color of the flowers may be designated as pink.
