The winter triticale variety Casimir, also known by the code HRST4415, was developed at the Polish breeding center HR Strzelce. The genetic line of the variety is designated as MAH32948-1*Migo.
The variety is included in official variety lists, in particular in Denmark. During production trials, the variety showed grain yield at the level of 105–109 units relative to control indicators.
Triticale of this type is used primarily as a fodder crop, however, breeding is also focused on improving grain quality for the food and processing industry.
