The spring triticale variety Kargo belongs to plants of medium height, amounting to 103–107 cm. It matures 1–3 days earlier than other spring triticale varieties and is distinguished by high lodging resistance.
The plant exhibits resistance to many cereal pathogens, including leaf rust, yellow rust, septoria, and powdery mildew. The grain has high falling number values and good resistance to sprouting in the ear; protein content depends on agronomic practices.
The variety has versatile use. The primary purpose is feed production, and the grain can also be used in the food industry.
