The variety "ES KAPRIS SLP" is approved for use in regions 5, 7, 8, and 9 of Russia. Information about it should be distinguished from data regarding the triticale variety "Kapriz", as these are different breeding products.

The variety "Kapriz" is characterized by grain-use direction. It shows a grain protein content of 14–16%, gluten content up to 32.8%, and a loaf volume of 850 cm³. The variety is plastic, adapted to different predecessors, but requires spatial isolation from rye.
